Reunion with my 1st Haiti group GO Team at CCC

Today I got to meet up with some of the original group I went on my 1st Haiti trip with. JR (& his wife RC and daughter who is going with JR on his 2nd trip to Haiti this summer), Mike, Sarah, & Dr. Morquette came from Haiti to update CCC on what's going on in Haiti and Kings Hospital and Garden (Orphanage).

Mike and Amy took their 2nd trip just a few months ago and really got to see more of Haiti and other orphanages around PaP.. Met a few other people going back in the next month or two and was able to give all the shoes to them to take to donate to the children...

My next trip will be with my 15 year old daughter Briel.. We are crossing our fingers that we get confirmed to work at a summer camp for over 150 children in PaP...Many of them have never attended school, some have lost their homes and some have even lost their entire families in the January 12th earthquake. Briel is excited about doing arts & crafts, playing ball and maybe teaching the kids some english.. It will be an experience she will never forget, me neither....

Next week is BUSY BUSY BUSY, both kids finally get their braces (last stage), surgery, Briels cheer outfit fitting and meeting for summer cheer camp, then a friends wedding.. WHEW :) THEN hopefully have the pool cleaned and be able to start heating it, as long as the weather holds up!!
